Response to How Soon...

Moe was asked where he got his current "new" swing from. His answer was from "Manuel de la Torre". For those who know Moe and have seen him over a number of years, every year he has the new "secret" of the swing. For the last couple of years it was from Craig Shankland, this year it was from Manuel. Who will it be next year?

My only point was that Moe thought that Jones/de la Torry were great teachers. Moe did not mention Bertholy this time, but in the past he has.

How you can attribute Moe's move to Bertholy is beyond me. Here are his achievements prior to meeting Bertholy.

1955 Canadian Amateur Champion
1956 Canadian Amateur Champion
1957 Runner-Up Low Canadian Open
1958 Canadian Open
1958 Ontario Open Champion
1963 Saskatchewan Open Champion
1963 Ontario Open Champion
1964 CPGA Miller Trophy Champion
1965 Manitoba Open Champion
1965 Runner-UP Canadian Professional Golfers Championship
1966 Canadian Professional Golfers Champion
1966 Alberta Open
1966 Manitoba Open Champion
1966 Quebec Open Champion
1967 Manitoba Open Champion
1968 Saskatchewan Open Champion
1971 Alberta Open Champion
1971 World Cup National Team
1974 Canadian Professional Golfers Champion
1976 Alberta Open Champion

The "reality" of Moe's Bertholy connection is that the vast majority of his golf accomplishments occured before he ever worked with Bertholy. That is fact. Do you think he wouldn't have won those difficult senior's championships without Bertholy's help?
