Response to Assumptions

frankly no one but you really gives a rat's behind on the relationship Moe had with who and how. We know for fact that Moe visited Bertholy regularly for many years, given Moe's selectivity, MANY of us feel that is significant enough that we want to hear what Bertholy has to say. Peter has been kind enough to take the time to post excerpts from Bertholy's book that he feels are significant. From what I've read, they just reinforce alot of what MOST of us already know to be true about an ideakl golf shot - retain the angle, flex in left knee, the "thwack" is really excellent explaination and exercise to HELP THE STUDENT LEARN this critical piece.

Regarding most of Moe's accomplishments - uh, most of ANY PRO GOLFER'S accomplishments occured before they reached the age tha Moe was when he started seeing Bertholy - DUH! It doesn't mean Moe stopped learning.

Moe was a student of the game and the swing. I suspect he picked the best of each - Jones, de la Torre, Bertholy and used the the best from each...and as Peter has mentioned...probably sees no conflict between Jones and Bertholy - we do though.

The point is WE WANT TO LEARN ABOUT BERTHOLY, SO GIVE THIS MOE INFLUENCE BY WHICH TEACHER STUFF A REST!
