Read caerfully boys...I didn't tell you what to post, I was simply trying to get you to take discussions about teacher influence to a new thread, cause this thread IS TRYING to just be about learning about Bertholy and his angle( no pun ) on the swing. Ty has a large capacity for missing the point, so I guess I shouldn't have tried.

The more posts ( and yes responses like this one ) about teacher influence mean it is a longer thread than it could be. I don't really care who was influenced by who. I care about getting better. It does not matter to me that NG was where I learned to put the lead hand toward the target, or that IMA recommends lead arm support of the chest. They work...and I am glad to have the info.

Post whatever the heck you want, wherever you want. I was just trying to ASK you - yeah I could've been a little nicer - to try and leave this thread to more of "disemination" vein rather than a "debate" vein, out of RESPECT for those that want to try and learn about Bertholy. But like the old Navy saying - "A sailor ain't happy unless he's bitchin'" A dg poster isn't happy unless they are debatin....

Accordingly, I will not reply back to any more posts in this sub-thread. And don't worry about offending me cause I don't agree with you. The conversation about who influenced Moe is moot...I will try and set up a live interview with Moe though so you guys can finally put this issue to bed. But until I do, I GUESS WE WILL NEVERR KNOW....
