Response to Lead knee trigger vs. Martino hip shift

With Martino your arms will move as your body tilts. However this happens with all pros. The issue is when does the tilt start.

In the case of most tour pros, the forward movement and the knee movement starts before the Martino slide and tilt. This is what occupies the 3-4 video frames. The intent in Bertholy is that the knee is the trigger for this chain of Proper Sequential Motion (PSM). This is of course something that must be learned but if you try the movement I think you will find that the movement of the knee forces the movement of your hips. What will not be there at first (at least for me) is all the other things in the chain. But I can see the potential.
