Response to Bertholy - SSSS Syndrome

Bertholy takes the very direct view that elite golfers ALL have common characteristics in their swings which FEW amateurs share. So to improve the golfer, teach them to produce those elite characteristics.

Unlike some that would only focus on the positive, Bertholy also takes the view that you must clearly know and recognize the enemy. To support this he has you execute certain drills incorrectly to drive the point home.

While many might argue with HOW the elite execute a golf swing there can be little argument about the reality of WHAT they do as shown in video. To my mind Bertholy captures the WHAT completely.

Tomorrow I will post Bertholy's mechanical metaphor for the fine golf swing as well as my observations as someone who has used (unknowingly) that metaphor.
