There are 2 sequences taken fron the rear parallel to the target line. They show a particularly dramatic aspects of the Hogan and Player swings which is now exhibited in Sergios swing - that is a vertical 'drop' that lowers the roughly horizontal club down to the level of the shoulders before any substantial shoulder rotation. This movement is accomplished with the movement of the trail elbow down to the side and result in:
o 'Rerouting' the lead arm to a lower plane
o Increases the force attempting to decrease the angle between the lead arm and club
o Decreases the angle at the trail elbow (trail arm bent more).
At the completion of this move both Hogan and Player have thier hips parallel to the target line but thier shoulders still about 45 deg. closed to the target line. Similar to:
but with the club closer to parallel to the shoulder line after the drop.
