Response to To be Real

Peter I am sure you are a fine person. Actually I personally believe that of everyone on here including Chaz. However, look at the extent everyone goes to, to impress each other with their knowledge and analysis. Then on top of that much of it is miss-guided.

I would assume that most everyone posting on this site have had some experience in College. If so then we all know the process of thinking we know more than we actually do. As soon as we have a few classes under our belt we think we are the teachers of the world. By the time one reaches the Doctors level given a balanced personality all the hype is gone and reality sets in. The real world vs. the ideal world is totally different and I would think most everyone on this post site can accept that.

Also, if you or I have a beef with someone we defend ourselves. What happens? Our minds in defense of ourselves steps in and we do not think in the realm of reality, but defensibly. The only other ways to miss guide is intentional and in ignorance. So we have self-defense, intentional, and ignorance. I can't tell what each person thinks on this site, but I do know that some respond for hurt or disapointment of their experience with NG. Actually, I went through a period of discontent myself. However, I too went through a low period but I got over it and after reading and watching and reading and watching and going to schools I find myself ok with NG, and everyone else too.

It is not my goal to convert you or anyone else. However, the path of this site is headed in the wrong direction, regardless of how good its goals. All I see is Paralysis by Analysis. And on top of that miss-guided Paralysis by Analysis.

The mind tells your arms/hands/shoulder to swing the club and the rest of the body supports and responds in kind.

What may look like a body movement in a still frame is not a swing starting from the mind telling the body i.e. legs to move first.

Peter go to the practice tee club in hand and do drills telling your legs to start the swing. It won't work. The very reason it will not work is why CG and NG and BG and all others teach "static" drills. You teach certain basic movements and they never start with the legs to my knowledge except for one film I have of a U. of Florida Golf teacher from the stone age.

I have watched others and myself for a long time. Anytime the lower body makes the first move failure will be the results.

Again, all parts work together. The lower body supports the upper body plane and simple. The mind says swing the club and we swing our arms, hands, and turn our shoulders while our legs and trunk support it. The golf swing can't happen without arms for us humans. Swing the arms and the body follows as needed to support then.

Thanks Peter
Not your enemy but I don't agree with the suggestion on this posting site that the body is first and the arms follow. It won't work, it will never work and all the hype and discussion only confuses others and miss leads then.
