If you are NOT an accomplished player focus on the arms until you become an accomplished player then we'll get into other things. The problem with that is what percentage ever get to be accomplished players focused on the arms as he advises. His example of Nicklaus is not IMHO one for 'every man' (or even every child).
Since Penick coached Crenshaw from the time he was a teenager, I doubt Penick waited that long.
