90+% of amateurs do not swing correctly. I don't have to take a survey to know that. I've got video (and so does the DG). Whatever is going on in their minds is NOT producing the correct result.
They all do think they are swinging their arms and the club but they are doing it INCORRECTLY.
I have no need to postulate what their minds are doing. Whatever it is doing it is not producing the correct results. I know what is required for ME to produce a correct swing it is NOT what you advise. It is in fact what you say will not work. In my case you are therefore incorrect.
