Using Easystreet's arms only type of swing. I can make my arms move down the proper path without bumping my knee forward, but the ball doesn't whip around and hit me in the back with a stinging sensation...and it is many times at a different spot in the back that the ball hits.
So I came back upstairs and re-read this post -
" make the first movement of the dwonswing a buckle of the left knee toward the target...allow no motion to occur at the top of the backswing..."
This doesn't make sense, swing the ball without swinging the arms - how can this be? But I tried it and after a few tries ...OUCH! I have a welt on my right shouder blade from the ball whipping around and smacking me...just like he said. It is hard to explain in words, by the time this happens, it is over. SORTA LIKE A GREAT GOLF SHOT. I can't say really how this happens, guess I'll just let Bertholy via Peter explain, after all Betrtholy was a Master PGA pro. Oh yeah, and a guy named Moe spoke very highly of his teaching and methods.
It'll be okay Easystreet ( if you would learn this that is ). By the way, Easy. I agree with you about the test of a swing being how it holds up under match conditions.
