Gallwey is not purely about visualization or feel. He just leaves the technical part to some other source as long as it doesn't interfere with the dominance of feel. He mentions this in his book.

I know you're big on video Peter. I don't dispute that it's helpful sometimes. But the problem with video is, you still can't translate the video to a series of consistent swings unless you can feel what you're doing. You certainly can't see yourself when you swing. You can ONLY feel it.

This is why feel is more important for consistency, and small technical adjustments can be made afterwards. Video is one of those technical "adjustment" tools.
