Response to Agree with some but...

This part of the discussion has come up often. You didn't need to know the mechanics of <pick your activity> therefore you don't need to know them for golf. And in fact this is the case with most amateurs and they get the results they get. Bad golf swings.

Unfortunately in golf the percentage of "natural spazzes" (as you've referred to them in the past) that don't swing correctly (even on practice swings) is more like 90+% vs a few.

You clearly think people will do a correct swing if they focus on 'feel'. I don't think you can identify the 'feel' of something you've never experienced. Unfortunately video of amateurs is an absolute confirmation of my opinion that 90+% of amateurs have never experienced a good swing. Your perspecitve that they don't focus on 'feel' requires more than video to prove or disprove. However note that several here have relayed stories of 'feel' not being accurate even though it was a point of focus. My approach may only be necessary for the "natural spazzes" but the percentages then mean there is a LOT of need for it.
