hi everybody,i hope this works out for you as well as it did me.just remember there is some leeway for everybody has a different amount of lateral movement.i was pushing and shanking something fierce when i first started working on the bertholy method.then i remembered something i read in the "swing like a pro" book.when setting up with feet together,keep front foot stationary.move rear foot for width stance.for short irons,place ball in the middle of rear foot[when feet are together],middle of feet for mid iron,middle of front foot for woods.if your used to playing it farther back,it will seem weird at first but persevere and it will seem natural in no time.
btw,the added benefit of the ball this far up is if you dont put a good move on it,you will top it or hit it thin.there is no cheating with this ball position.
