Peter, I am not saying that the bend does not exist. IT DOES. However, you can NOT deduce this from the Nicklaus photo. Same way you can not deduce this from the Palmer photo I mentioned. The Palmer photo shows an extreme bend THE OTHER WAY. These are artifacts.
