Response to Hit Impulse
TOM ,i was referring to his other book "how to hit the ball straight",but i think it applies as well, and i think you are right about him having
a some what slow swing. I really don't know.
THE Redman swing can be very powerful if done correctly- there are just some
that don't believe you can make a golf swing with passive arms AND HANDS.
Peter ,i think made the point that you can have a Hit IMPULSE
WITH OTHER PARTS OF THE BODY AS WELL.
When you say "I think that any swing theory that uses the hands and/or arms actively at all must find a way to deal with the "hit impulse".
I must reply that--
I thought those type of swings were looked upon as beginner swings
and frowned upon -A.J. COMES TO MIND --that most really good players use much less arms and hands in their swings.
Tom,set me straight if you must.
