"BTW - do you sleep? (3:45am)"
That time is not the time of the post for me. It is the time that the administrator has the forum set to. I think it is set to eastern standard time. I am six hours ahead of eastern time, which is why I have a jump on most of the people here everyday.
Of course you all make up for that evenings when I am sleeping deeply.
You posted "If there is a change of distance from address to impact, what is the most humanly efficient way to produce correct club path, face angle and speed (club movement) allowing for this to occur."
I think there is a fairly easy answer for that. I think that it will seem backwards for almost everybody playing, and teaching the game though. That said though, I think to Moe it would make perfect sense, and that because it is the opposite of what most try to do it probably explains how Moe figured it out. You must match ideal impact positions (path, clubface, angle of attack, center contact) to an address position that can most easily allow the above to happen.
Moe was the best at hitting a golf ball straight that I have ever seen.
