| is in fact precisely a Bertholy swing. None of us here ever said that he wasn't. He performs the Master position, Keystone, and the claw perfectly. He starts his DS with his lower body, retains his angles, and hits the ball first with a post impact divot. He DOESN'T consciously manipulate his hands at impact.
Bertholy didn't care so much about the backswing, after all, you don't hit the ball in your BS. So don't let Furyk's, or John Daly's, or Raymond Floyd's goofy backswings fool you into thinking that their downswings don't match the Bertholy positions. I don't know of any touring pro's who don't. There are very few amateurs who do. |
