I'm getting more turn, leverage, height and distance. More solid contact. Obviously there is still a lot of work to do if I want to pursue it. The release is not very strong and I'm still slapping more than pistoning the trail arm.

Overall I am very happy with the change. I want to get comfortable with the increased turn, making a good on-plane backswing. Then I will work more on the downswing, release/ pistoning.
One interesting development is that my equipment needs to be changed. My offset woods are hooking too much now. I got my regular, non-offset woods out of the purgatory bin in the basement, and I can finally hit them well. This move of reaching back/ turning farther has really helped my downswing plane. Before, I was constantly working and even manipulating to not come down from the outside. Using equipment that covered up the problem helped my scores but not my swing.
I also have switched over to my steel irons because the extra weight helped me feel the backswing better.
