I understand your point

You make a valid point(s). Unfortunately, shoe comfort is not universal for all golfers.

I spend over a $100 dollars on running shoes. My brand of choice are Aasics. This brand fits my feet quite well for a plodder like me. However, in my office, there some folks who actually ran marathons. They prefer Mizunos and Nike brand. It is not because their style of shoe is better. Their brand fits and conforms to their feet while my brand (Aasics) conform to my feet.

My point is that golf shoes at one time WERE comfortable and I was able to find a style that fit me well. But it seems they have gotten away from this concept and added extra stability and firmness to every shoe style. The result is less comfort. I have spent many of hours looking and trying on brands.
