LOL I have done the same more times then I can remember. Possibly for folks like you and me the only real cure is to get a teacher and put away all the books and videos and stay off the internet. See the teacher every day and do what he or she says only with total commitment. I am pretty sure that I would be one thousand percent better of a player if I did that!
On the other hand it is fun to change swings and methods all the time...
