that this could be a video of the actual count. You can see from the cars that this was shot in the 70's and he died in 1982. This guy matches his description and swing method. There is a forum on the Golf Channel about Count Yogi that is quite active, and allegedly several of them met Yogi and one guy claims to be his protege. The alleged protege says that Yogi never claimed that you should hit up on the ball, but rather hit the back of the ball and pick it clean.

My own personal opinion is that Count Yogi and Moe had incredible eye-hand coordination talent and it is this, not their swing quirks that enabled them to be such pure ball strikers.
