Hehehehe...If I am playing with the right mental/emotional approach - there is no "bad round, or good round". There is only THIS SHOT. Sorry I had to take you there so I could take you here:
"How I am playing" implies a pre-occupation with score, results, performance above or below expectations ...all of which move us from a place of trust and belief to a place of fear and anxiousness. They move us to a place other than the present.
AFTER the round is when we should turn our attention to "how we played", and if there is any pattern of error - these would be the things to focus on in our practice. During the round we should be immersed IN PLAYING.
So for me, IDEALLY...if I am in the right frame of mind...a round doesn't "go bad" ( try to fix it ) or "go great" ( obsess about keeping it going )..it just goes. Lot more fun that way.
