| was bringing my lead arm/elbow down against my chest/abdomen as I transitioned from Keystone to impact. This straightens out the trail arm in the process. What I'm trying to do now is to keep my lead arm above my trail arm down through impact. This is the only way to maintain the bend in the trail arm.
I took the left arm connectedness instruction too literally and was trying to get the entire lead arm against my chest/abdomen at impact. One only needs to keep the lead armpit and the very top of the bicep brushing the chest. |
