Herbert, in a earlier post i mentioned that by
using my lead-left arm to make short pitches and chips
and my trail arm just to add weight to the club,
my short game improved an incredible amount.
You ever pitch and chip that way?
It is a bit scarey, i am talkin about total domination
with the lead arm and hand- it feels like the club face
won't square up and i'll hit a squirt shot to the right-
but it always does square up, and i can hit high soft
shots that stop by the pin. I have holed more short shots
in the last few weeks than i have in the past several years.
One thing to relearn is how hard to hit a shot- WITHOUT
THE TRAIL ARM JUMPING IN TO WACK THE BALL, I HAVE HAD TO
HIT SHOTS HARDER.
I used to hit some pulls and low hot shots
by way of my trail arm and hand.
Now those shots are gone- at least in that part of my game.
I owe my improved short game to Peter and one of his posts.
Thanx Peter. Everyone with short game problems should at
least try lead arm short shots
