learn intuitively by mimicry. Almost all tour players have had a club in their hands since they were very young. So the muscles, motor-nuero pathways and muscle fibers these yutes have developed over decades are well developed by the time they reach the tour...no need to "do Bertholy". They need something else, and it has nothing to do with swing mechanics. wink
As we get older, our powers of mimcry and the ability to learn intuitively diminishes....so we need a different plan. We adults learning the game have a lot of catching up to do! The Blueprint / Bertholy method is primarily directed toward the aspiring adult golfer who wants to build a better swing.
Youths learn everything ( not just golf ) faster and easier than adults do...it's the way we are wired. That's the why and how of it. Simple eh?
Now regarding my move and swing, you are not telling me anything I don't know!
But it has gotten lots better over the years hasn't it, and most of my buddies, playing partners' have fallen off and have gotten worse...though many of em have been playing since high school. (I didn't start playing golf till my late 30's)
Never quit til you have a swing you'll never forget!
