To hit a draw the path of the club must be in to out. The clubface must be open to the target. The ball will fly in the direction of the clubface. If the clubface is square to the path of the club you get a push to the right. To get a draw the clubface must be closed in relation to the path of the club even as it is open to the target - then you get the ball drawing right to left.
