Allen has actually improved a lot, though he is the type that is never happy, and his self deprecating attitude betrays his real improvement....he has very high standards.
Since applying the Blueprint, and taking advantage of the video review and my coaching, Allen REDUCED HIS HANDICAP INDEX BY 7:
"I have followed Kevins teachings over the past golf season and it has resulted in a handicap decrease from 15 at the start of the season to an 8 by the end of the season. Kevin and I have corresponded frequently, and he has analyzed many video sessions of my golf swing"
Cutting your HC index by 50% in one season is quite an accomplishment. He also noted in the same letter that his club head speed increased by 25%. So when an injury happens, or you are slowed by a health setback, it is easy to forget the gains that have been realized. Unless we are careful, we always tend to gravitate toward the negative. The thing to remember is the gains made are not lost. You don't have to go back and start over. Also overlooked is how Allen has gained a greater understanding of the golf swing, and what is truly needed to have a fine swing and to continue to push for a better action.
Blueprint/Bertholy practitioners put their "pros" out of business - the more you work on the programs, the more you understand what is truly ESSENTIAL to a fine swing and you become more and more adept at self diagnosis, as Allen has just proved.
So Allen, don't be too hard on yourself, and Herbert, I have noticed a renewed focus on your part on those things essential, and less pre-occupation with methods or systems....you are on the right path, and this will get you where you want to go.
