if an early wrist set is an advantage. Most set fully on the downswing, as you mentioned by down loading, or down cocking(increasing the angle on the downswing).
I think wrist carefully increasing wrist flexibility could be a good thing, and I like the cross handed split grip exercise. Have to see over a long time period if it provides benefit for me.
Back to the range now. Mostly just to teach though. The season is in full swing here now!
