There is some rotation of the hips with this stance, but not much with the short back swing.
I'm braced into my right instep and inside of right leg.
The Left knee is flexed a little. Address weight is about 50/50 on the legs. The right leg stays fairly straight through the swing. As I swing back to the 3/4 Backswing (top of swing), there is some rotation/pivot around the lead (left) leg. I hadn't used it long enough to see if it is a problem at all for the left knee. I did not have any trouble with the flex and rotation around it. I would say if you try it, take easy swings until you see how it is for you. No I was not doing any Bump with this swing.
