If you changed your swing enough to have an impact position that looks like Gainey's then you need to also insure the ball position is such that the club head path into the ball is near level. Many people become used to a ball position that is too far back as a compensation for not maintaining the angle between lead arm and club. If it is you will have a 'normal' driver trajectory. I put normal in '' because many people have never experienced the correct trajectory for a particular club so correct may seem incorrect.
