Fascinating concept... I think that there is a certain purity in sports (aside from the drug problem) that keeps out the BS at the highest levels. In the 'real' world phony science can make a lot of money based on data that is manipulated to give the desired result. At the Olympic level that sort of thing is not likely to work very well. Physical talent, mental talent and purity of technique equals gold.
The sort of 'secret to golf' nonsense that is sold on the internet and in infomercials etc. is not going to fly at that level. LOL the problem with scoring in golf is that it is not so simple and talent can trump technique. You do not have to have bio mechanically perfect technique to be the greatest golfer in the world.
