Response to Plywood?
Can a stiff tall bristle mat be bought for inside an apartment?
I only go to the driving range when there are grass tees and that's probably 8 weeks away. The first 4-6 will be matts and I refuse to hit off them. I went to a range last week I heard about because a friend wanted to go. It has heated bays and you hit out into the snow. The matts are awful. They are way too hard. I took a couple swings with a wedge and 8 iron and gave up. I take a pretty healthy divot and hate the feeling of the KLONG that you get when you hit the mat. If you keep swinging on those things you start to adapt your swing to save your wrists and end up with a sweeping swing that barely touched the ground.
Do they sell mats that would be a couple inches high in bristles, very stiff and tightly packed? Picture a thick hay welcome mat. I'd like one of those for my apartment.
