Response to Stiff bristle mats

I know what you mean and years ago I got a bristle mat section (about 12x36) that I could use at ranges with those awful mats. Later I found was that the pain was because of a steep swing divot. When you execute the 'master move' you will be on a shallower downswing plane (ala Hogan) and the divot will be shallower. There is much less shock with this even on the awful mats.
