Well, I was at the range today for some more exaggerated swings.
I was trying to make sure my lead knee was bringing the arms down, and not my arms moving first.
Here is the latest video
. 9 iron left from a week ago, 7 iron right from today.
However, I was hitting pulls all day. Why is this? It's clear to see the clubhead getting outside plane, and I'm hitting pulls. Is it because I'm turning that lead hip too much too soon? Is it because I am turning my upper body and moving my head and sternum forward towards the target (not maintaining the reverse C so to speak). I'm not sure I am doing this (couldn't get a face on video), but think that I might be. Would that contribute to me coming over the top?
Or am I too close to the ball still. My arms are straight down, but out a little bit towards the ball. Do I need to bend at the knees and waist more? When I stood from the ball a bit further my pulls were a lot less, but I don't think that's the ultimate solution here.
