Response to Help needed with a downswing plane far outside the ball.

Per Hogan and what you'll see with tour pros the club head should be under the ball-shoulder plane on the downswing. This will mean the laser in the butt end of your club will point outside of the target line (further from the target line than you are). This is not bad and does not mean you are 'over the top'; you are under the swing plane.

While being perfectly on plane might be an ideal it does mean that with a VERY slight 'tweak' you will be over the swing plane. If you want to stay on plane in back swing and down swing despite the comments then you will likely need to bend forward over the ball more (perhaps a LOT more). When your line of your torso is roughly perpendicular to the swing plane it will be possible to keep the swing on plane.
