But I am staying at the Radisson Hotel in Moline Illinois and all the golfers that are playing in the John Deere Classic are also staying here. Every time I go out of my room to get ice or take the elevator I bump into one or two of them. So far I have spoken to Lucas Glover, Kenny Perry, Brad Faxon and Robert Games and many more of the young PGA tour golfers that I just dont know their names but I recognize them as PGA pros. This is amazing, I guess that this is the best hotel in the area and due to the rainout today there must be 162 pro golfers here and there are only about 600 rooms or so and that makes it impossible not to bump into the pro golfers. Due to the rainout I am going to get to se three rounds of golf instead of only two. This is going to be a very good weekend for me. An interesting note, they all take their golf bag and clubs into their rooms. I guess so no one can steal their clubs.
Man! What an experience this weekend was. My laptop crashed and I was unable to post from my Hotel room, however I am back home now. I was very careful not to intrude into any of the PGA players lives but I continued to see them in the halls and at the breakfast bar along with the elevator and restaurant. The cut was not made until Saturday due to the Friday round being rained out. The pros that missed the cut on Saturday hung around the hotel or went out to the golf course to practice while waiting for the special Sunday night chartered flight over to the UK for the British Open. I hope I start playing better now just by living in the same Hotel with very good golfers (Ha, Fat chance that happens). Anyway I am back home now with a few days off from work and I have not played golf since last week due to my trip. I am starting to the get the shakes due to golf withdrawal. I am going to play golf tomorrow if it kills me.
