Swing methods and systems operate or function on a level that is superficial and non essential to a good swing....that is why there are so many different ones, and why people keep trying all kinds of methods and one never seems to work or stick.
If someone attempts a new swing method, and they don't have good basic swing fundamentals down...the swing method will only take them so far..then the swing method will eventually "not work" and is merely a band aid, and eventually it will fall off, then you need a new band aid.
Likewise, if someone has the Absolutes and fundamentals installed - any swing method will work. The golfer chooses the method best suited to his liking, personality and learning style, physique and physical considerations, and goes with it.
If the golf swing were a house, then the Absolutes would be the foundation, framing, and basic construction principles found in all dwellings - done "to code". The layout, decorating and furnishing would be the swing method. You cannot decorate and furnish a house that doesn't conform to good basic construction principles (well at least you wouldn't want to!)
If the golf swing were a computer, the Absolutes would be the drivers and the windows or mac operating system. The swing method would be whatever software package you choose to run on the computer. The software will not run without the drivers and the operating system.
Most people are always looking for the next best thing, the next best method or system - they never look to address the root causes of their swing problems. Most people THINK they are addressing the root problem when they try a new system/method, but they aren't. Many here have adopted several methods and made some nice improvement by adopting this or that method. But they report even better results when they addressed the Absolutes found in all great swings. Then their chosen method became fortified by having better fundamentals.
