How Many Swings is this Guy Selling

I purchased the Symple golf videos a while back, but was not sold on the strong grip, I found it uncomfortable. I also went with the 1 Hour golf swing and used a slightly weaker grip and found it better overall than the original videos. Now he is peddling the power triangle perfect power golf swing which looks no different than the original Symple Swing. Has anyone taken a look at the videos for this yet?

Publish or Perish

Like Doug F. said "publish or perish".

There are precious few whose message has not changed. Focus on message not swing method....

If this is the swing then they are different teachers

Is this the swing you are referring to?http://www.perfectpowergolf.com/

If so then that is Mike Oleary and he is not the same person that teaches the SS or the One hour swing. He demonstrates the SS but Joe Davison is the inventor of SS and The One Hour Swing. Mike and Joe had a falling out and apparently Mike has started his own swing method.

Re Mike O'Leary

December 13 2011, 10:34 PM

About 4 years ago I took a Private Lesson with Mike in Orlando.
It was the Symple Golf Method that Joe developed.
I don't know what principles Mike has for his swing method
now, but Mike is one of the nicest guys you want to meet.
Anyone could call him at anytime and he would help you.
I didn't stick with SS because the SS grip did not work for me.
Also at that time, I just couldn't make that swing work with my
hands staying in the center of my chest.
What works for me now is the Minimalist swing where the left upper
arm slides up along the chest and then stays there.
I wish Mike the best and hope his swing works out for him.
I have never met another instructor that's as unselfish as he is.
I don't know what his issues were with Joe but again a Great guy.

Personally, I don't think that SS was ever very organized. It sure didn't work for me but I guess there are quite a few who did like it. I never could get in balance with that stance. The other thing that turned me off was how it seemed as if they kept changing things as if they hadn't fully developed their ideas before taking it to the public. I wonder how different the swing they teach today is from the one they first marketed?

I agree Ron

I also took a lesson from Mike in Chicago a few year ago. Mike is in indeed a Great guy. He is a very good golf instructor also. I did get an E-mail about Mike's new swing meathod. It was a mass e-mail send to introduce "Perfect Power Swing " and Mike's new website.
I don't know much about it besides what others have said that Mike and Joe Davidson had a falling out. My guess is that Joe Davidson has moved on with his new swing method "The One Hour Swing " .(by the way I have had sevearl phone conversations with Joe and he is a very nice guy also)
Mike O'Leary's "Perfect Power Swing " seems to be pretty much the same as the old Simple Swing for the most part. I have no way of knowing this, but I am thinking maybe Mike bought out the old the rights to the old "Simple Swing " from Joe and remaned it.

From what I can tell THE OLD SIMPLE SWING IS NO MORE

Joe Davidson is now teaching (ONE HOUR SWING )

Mike O'Leary is now teaching (PERFECT POWER SWING )
