onselling magazine articles plus info on your books

Hi Michael,

I'm a freelance writer making a reasonable living writing mainly for one corporate magazine. Can you tell me if I own the copyright of my articles? I work entirely from home and have my own ABN number. If I do own the copyright, does that mean I can offer the same articles I have written for this publication to other publications and be paid twice or even three times, or do I need to rehash the article so it's different to what was originally published?

Also, I'm very interested in what you have to say about commercial writing, however I have no experience in this area. How do I find out about the different styles and formats required in commercial writing compared to magazine writing.

Finally, I would like to purchase one of your books, either the Enterprising Writer or the Wealthy Writer. I've read the FAQs but am still not sure which I would find most useful in expanding my writing business.
