This is the problem I've had with meetings, they are often time consuming, I'm not earning anything stuck in my car driving to and from them. And often they turn into nothing more than a 'nice to meet you' type thing. I find trying to weed these type of people out, the most difficult.
Is there anyway that I can reassure potential clients that I can get a good feel for their business, just by talking/e-mailing etc, and by them sending me as much info about their business as possible?
The clients I have worked with purely electronically, have often commented that they were pleasantly surprised that I could get such a good grasp of their business this way.
Only managed to get one who would say that for a testimonial though. The rest weren't keen to say anything publically as it were.
