Two Straight Razors F/S...

by

First is a George Wostenholm & Son (Sheffield) pipe razor. Medium hollow. It's 4/8 or 5/8, I believe. Good usable condition. Easier to sharpen than the wedge, and would probably be easier to shave with.

Second is a N&R Dodge (Sheffield) wedge. The pin is a little loose in the handle, so it's something to be careful with, and possibly looked at for restoration. It feels great in the hand though. Good heft. I prefer the feel of it to the other.

Both blades were sharpened professionally just a couple weeks ago by Lynn Abrams at a cost of over $60, and have seen basically no use since I got them back. They are both what I would call retardedly sharp, and shave ready.

I've realized that I don't have the patience or time to learn how to use them, so they need to go.

I'd like to sell both together. $75 for both, and I'll eat the PP fees and shipping costs. Basically, you get both for the cost of the sharpening I had done.

I'd also trade for a Merkur Futur, just in case anyone has one laying around. happy.gif

Email me if you'd like pics. Serious inquiries only.
