I have a buddy who wants a paintball gun to learn on - figure I can get him the cheap Barbie doll of guns.
So, looking for somebody who is dumping an Ion or parts and some kit for cheap. I don't care if you have all the parts, it runs, if everything is there. If you have some old junk for it, a board, a bolt, a few o-rings, he could use them. I think I have .75 Ions somewhere around my place so I will be throwing in also.
I want to hand him a box of unassembled kit so he can build 1-2 from it. He loves stuff like that, and what he has done with free cars and engines in the past is kinda scary (though the 5.7 Jag was really sweet and near free, his V8 boat for a couple hundred was a monster.)
So, while he works on his NCP ME degree and wants to learn paintball equipment, I can think of no better way to challenge him and getting him something he can do on a Ramen budget. He used to rebuild jet engines, so this shouldn't be a problem.
I have a tank or two outta hydro he can use, though I won't say no do a well priced one. A decent mask, older? Say a Dye or JT? And then just parts - if you have some dinged up kit, scratched, ugly, needs o-rings, couldn't really sell? Perfect.
I won't say no to a stock one that is stupid cheap either, but I kinda want to hand him a challenge. Just boxes of parts of anything would be fun, in case you need to get rid of something unloved in your garage.
