an even simpler mod that will yield more drastic results is cutting down a phantom power tube and replacing the plastic cross that is the current power tube. Doing this will allow you to swap out the stock mainspring with phantom mainsprings, allowing you to adjust velocity by swapping springs. Plus you'll get better 12gram efficiency.
