Your point about e-mail addresses brought up a thought.

I checked the list and there were quite a few that started with the alpha characrter/letter "l", which looks exactly like the numeral "1".

So, I went in and changed any e-mail address that started with the letter "l" to a capital letter "L". Hopefully this will help.
