From your post it sounds like you may have read John Dewey's "Experience and Education" recently. I had to read this book last week for my Education 200 class. I do see your point that Dewey and Mill are comparable in their ideas about experience. One thing that I think sets Dewey and Mill apart is that Mill is much easier to read and comprehend. I just thought it was funny when I read your post that I had also been recently studying John Dewey.
