check PubMed for medical advice before giving medical advice

I work in a medical library and PubMed is available to anyone, free. It's a database fron the National Library of Medicine and National Institutes of Health. If you go to the home page on the left hand side you will find "consumer health". Click on it, then on "health topics" and finally on "A". Scroll down to "Acne". Here is the acne website address http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/acne.html
Go to nearly the bottom of the page to "Acne Myths and Misconceptions" from the American Academy of Dermatology. You need to update your info to match the current medical information. Before giving out any medical advice to anyone or to check on something for yourself, check there first, please.
