Joel, of Orem, Utah was born in Payson, Utah on May 16, 1977 to Victor and Sandra Dean. He is number six of the eight Dean children.
He was married September 29, 2000 to his lovely bride, Kristy, along with her children, Sara and Sam. They made the family complete with the addition of their Òprecious GracieÓ (Savannah).
Joel loves his children dearly and is a great dad! The knowledge that he is now in Heaven with our Savior, Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father, is a great comfort.

Joel loved to play basketball and loves sports in general. Hes always loved the outdoors and loves helping people. He lived his life to love and serve and did so well on the mission he served for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Baltimore, MD from 1997 - 1999.
He was so loved and will be sorely missed.
He is survived by his wife, Kristy and his children, Sara, Sam and Savannah; his parents, Vic Dean and Sandy (Rolland) Wall; his siblings: Monica (Dean) Riedel, Misty (Jay) Thompson, Jared (Christa) Dean, Melanie (Jonathan) Bond, Amber & fiancee Lanard Hobdy, Lindsey (Keith) McGinnis and Summer Dean.
He loves and will miss each of his 21 nieces and nephews, his many cousins, aunts and uncles and especially his grandpa Robert Dean and grandma Ada Dean and Grandma Betty Blair.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. in the Orem Orchard 3rd Ward Chapel, 810 East 600 North, Orem, Utah. Family will greet friends at the Chapel from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to service.
