In Hawaii, I used DHL quite a bit. They had three things going for them: 1) they would ship to places you couldn't find on a normal map; 2) they would ship live insects (UPS and FedX won't any more); and 3) very, very pleasent and helpful people. I once shipped live pupae to the Maldives Islands. I wasn't sure where it was - niether was the agent at DHL. But they figured it out - the route was all over the place (easily trackable). And the pupae got there and cleared customs before the flies started to emerge. This was quite an accomplishment when just the week before I had a shipment to Wales fried by FedX.
