We live in the USA. No disrespect to anyone. The USA is one heckva melting pot - all kind of backgrounds from all over the globe... And for the most part.. all getting along. Yes indeed we have problems but not like I have seen in my "travels". My father was Norse - he didn't like Swedes - Liked everyone else... But then again he didn't go out trying to eliminate all Swedes .. and he did say to judge people by their actions ..
Guess he got the message - new land, new opportunities, no old grudges : that we here are darn lucky to be living in a land that does give opportunity to all ..sometimes that opportunity is a little hard to get - but it's here and obtainable ..... Never did find out why he didn't like Swedes - I always thought it was because some Swede - somewhere - drank him under the table and he had to pick up the tab. :-)))))))
