From one skating fan to another, I am emailing you out of hope that you could please copy and paste the below paragraphs into your web pages or if you don’t have a web page, if you could forward this to your friends or even post about this on message boards or mailing lists you should come accross. What is it about?.. Well, its is about Canadian figure skater, Elvis Stojko and his charity. This is for such a good cause that we need to get the word out to not only Elvis and skating fans, but everyone. Elvis Stojko has put in another great season and it would be great for people to donate money to his charity in honour of him.

Elvis has perservered through a long season of competitions on his road to recovery from a painful injury that almost ended his career. Once again, he proved to us that nothing is impossible when you have a dream. Elvis' dream lives in children who are dealt with daily by RMCC (Ronald McDonald's Childrens Charities). In honour of Elvis and his strength, courage and true mettle in the face of seemingly unsurmountable odds, please make a donation to RMCC and give to the kids Elvis is trying to help live their dreams. It doesn't matter if it is $1, $5, $10, $20 or $100 it all helps.

On the memo line of your cheque please write The Elvis All Stars. My friend at RMCC will know to keep the cheques with this description separate. We will then tally the total money near the beginning of August and present Elvis with a certificate stating the dollars raised by the fans at the Mariposa Gala in Barrie on August 12th.

Elvis has been a wonderful spokesperson over the years to this wonderful charity, now we have a chance to not only show our love and support to Elvis, but more importantly help this much needed cause. Let’s help these innocent children live out their dreams to the fullest way possible. More than any other gift that Elvis may get from his fans, I think this is the greatest gift of all that he would want.
